Telnet Help
Below is what you see if you are able to successfully connect to Inetserv via telnet.
Below is the MOTD (Message Of The Day) which is stored in the Inetserv folder and is editable with any ASCII program.
This is the help list for the telnet interface. Note there are no commands to be able to send or recieve mail. The telnet interface is for server administration.
The following is a list of all the commands a user is able to enter while logged into the telnet interface.
fwdlist flag O is required to use this command. This will list all forwards as listed in the alias section of the user setup.
useradd flag O is required to use this command. This will add a user to the server.
userdel flag O is required to use this command. This wil delete a user from the server. Please note there is no confirmation when this command is used.
userlist flag O is required to use this command. This will list all users that are logged into the server.
status flag O is required to use this command. This will list all users that are logged into the server.
logger flag O is required to use this command. This will turn logging on or off.
motd no flag is required to use this command. This command will display the Message Of The Day.
version no flag is required to use this command. This will show you the version of Inetserv that is currently running.
help no flag is required to use this command. This will show you this list of commands.
exit no flag is required to use this command. This will exit you off the server. Note that there is no confirmation before it will log you off.
